I was implementing this, and the standard serialization (toString in java) is terminologyId::codeString. Should preferredTerm also appear there, in some way?

It does make understanding of the mapping much easier (recognising that it will be mono-lingual.
It does make me wonder if we need to distinguish between the terse form of a coded_text where it is intended that the rubric is intended to populate the element, and where the rubric is just there to aid human comprehension and is not intended to force that value to be used. We have come across similar issues when expressing default coded_text items in templates.
