The openEHR project is famous for development basis of the ISO/CEN 13606. For the interoperability of electronic healthcare records, a number of projects are implementing the openEHR specification with various technology. Development projects related to the openEHR are now Core reference implementation has been implemented by Eiffel and is recoginized as reference implementation of the openEHR specifications. Java implementation is also famous and recognised as reference implementation. Moreover, Python and Ruby implementation projects are progressing. These are the evidences that the openEHR(ISO/CEN 13606) specification has univeraslty and is gaining wider interest internationally.
On that background of steady international growth, we would like to explore taking an opportunity to prove the interoperability and evaluate conformance to the openEHR specification among several existing projects, as projects that are spread worldwide across more than 17 countries. In this workshop, the people of the projects gather to discuss implementation and other issues involving projects related to the openEHR.
There will also be a connectathon demonstration of some of the projects aiming to showcase the simple but effective use of archetypes to support clinical SOAP noting and Emergency Summary use, which is a univeral clinical requirement (see the related pages below here).
