The translation process - Good Practice [WORK IN PROGRESS]

This page serves as a collection of the processes and practices that are used to govern the translations of archetypes in the various CKMs.

To include any archetype in the templates created by the Catalan Clinical Knowledge Modelling team, the archetype has to include a Catalan and Spanish translation.

While locally created archetypes are not a problem, the

Translators

Every member of the Catalan Clinical Knowledge Modelling team has the right to contribute to the translations.

In most cases, one person per project is appointed to carry out the initial translation.

Tracking translations

Translations are tracked in an Excel spreadsheet that is accessible to all members of the Catalan Clinical Knowledge Modelling team. The spreadsheet has a sheet for every project that is worked on. Every sheet has the following structure:
