Workshop 4th Nov - suggested topics

  • Problem/Diagnosis proposed new model in the Netherlands

    • Would like to discuss a more fine grained approach to problem/diagnosis that we are developing as Dutch zibs (HCIMs). We are proposing to split the existing problem zib (which could be mapped to the current problem/diagnosis archetype and possibly the Symptom/Sign archetypes) into three new zibs, mainly to be able to follow the diagnosis process more closely over time:

    • Questions: Do particpants recognize the problem of not being able to fully record the changes during the diagnostic process? Would this also be a feasible approach for openEHR? How would we map the current archetypes to this construct?

  • The proposed PROM archetype modelling style guide: PROM modelling style guide (DRAFT)

  • Neurological Status maybe?

  • Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs). I've good experience in electronic implementation, including styling, licensing and other best practices. IMHO we need a generic template Archetype building on FHIR Questionnaire resource. One area I'd be keen to learn more about is how to embed scoring rules. I'll prepare a list of exemplar PROMs to make sure we cover key aspects.

  • Multiple Valuesets in Medication, Allergies, Diagnosis and Terminology-Server. Medication, Allergies, Diagnosis:

  • Review PROMS style guide

  • Self-reported data

  • Modelling complex clinical pathways, archetype and template lifecycle management, managing clinical terminologies

  • "The Heartbeat/Pulse conundrum

  • Imaging examination of an anomaly

  • "I propose a discussion on the appropriate usage of screening archetypes within clinical data modeling, focusing on both intended use and potential misuse. Would like to discuss the foundational principles guiding the development and implementation of screening archetypes, aiming to clarify and standardize their use. Additionally, maybe we could examine current practices — how are these archetypes applied today, and what insights can we gain from diverse approaches to inform best practices?"

  • How do you work out individual questionnaires? Are there general archetypes for this? which rules must be observed?

  • Template Modelling, Terminology

  • VAQM

  • Navigating in the CKM

  • How to best add national specifics to international archetypes (Slots? Specialization?)
