Incubators Menu

Please Note: Incubator functionality is not enabled in the NEHTA CKM instance

The Incubators Menu allows users to access Incubators either by opening an existing Incubator or creating a new Incubator.

Open an Incubator

Incubators can be opened by any user however to access the Incubators menu, the user must be registered. To open an Incubator, select the Incubators menu followed by selecting Open Incubator. A drop down menu will appear and allow the user to select an appropriate Incubator.

Creating a new Incubator

An Incubator can be created by CKM administrators.

To create an Incubator:

  1. Select Projects from the main menu.
  2. Select Create Incubator, the Create Incubator screen will display
  3. Input desired Name, Description and select the Subdomain the new Incubator will be associated to
  4. Select Create Incubator button.
  5. The new Incubator will appear; the add Incubator members screen displays allowing the owner  to 'Add users' or 'Invite users' to the Incubator. From the Incubator Members tab - Add users to a Incubator window, select User List button to search for an appropriate user to be added.
  6. Select the Role
  7. Select Add user to Incubator button.
  8. Repeat Steps 5-6 as necessary for multiple users
  9. Select Next: Add resources button to add resources to the Incubator
  10. The Incubator Resources screen is displayed. Add Archetypes, Templates or Termsets using the Add Archetype, Add Template and Add Termset button
  11. Search for an archetype in the left hand panel and double click to add the resource to the incubator.
  12. Repeat Steps 10-11 as necessary.
