Project Functions
Project Home Page
The Project Home page displays all relevant information about the project including:
- Project Name
- Description
- Assets (archetypes, templates and termsets) owned or referenced by the project
- Active Reviews – displays the active reviews for resources owned or referenced by the Project.
- Subdomain – the subdomain the project is associated to
- Direct link: the webpage link to direct a user to the project.
Project Resources
Project Resources displays the assets that are linked to a project. The 'Owned' column indicates that an asset is owned by the Project displaying a in the appropriate row. A Clinical Knowledge Administrator can change the ownership of an asset to another Project. Switch the list of assets displayed by selecting the Archetypes, Templates or Termsets tabs. A Clinical Knowledge Administrator can add Archetypes, Templates or Termsets to a Project via this screen by selecting the buttons below the display window and selecting the appropriate resource from the tree menu.
Project Members
A Project is designed to have members who are involved in the development of assets within the Project. Members can be assigned to a Project in a number of ways:
- Directly adding a member to a Project by a Clinical Knowledge Administrator or Project Editor
- A Power User can request a Clinical Knowledge Administrator or Project Editor to add them to a Project
- A Clinical Knowledge Administrator or Project Editor can invite a Power User to become a member of a Project – the Power User will decide whether they will accept or reject the invitation.
Directly adding a member to a Project
Steps:
- From the Project Members view – Add users to Project window, select User List to search for the appropriate user or input the username in the text window.
- Select the appropriate Role for the user from: Editor; Reviewer, Terminology Editor; Terminology Reviewer; Terminology Editor; or Translator.
- Select Add users to Project
- The users will be displayed in the Project members window with their selected Role.
Removing a Project member
Steps:
- Right click on the member's name to display menu
- Select Remove memberÂ
Change a Project member's role
Steps:
- Right click on the member's name to display menu
- Hover mouse over Change Role and select new Role.
Requesting access to a Project
A Power User can request access to a Project which will be determined by a Clinical Knowledge Administrator or the Project Editor.
Invite a Power User to become a Project member
A Clinical Knowledge Administrator or Project Editor can invite a Power User to become a member of a Project. The Power User will receive an invitation and they will decide whether to accept or reject the invite.
Steps:
- From the Project Members window, select the Invitations tab
- From the Invite user to join Project window, select User List to search for an appropriate username or enter the username directly in the text window.
- Select an appropriate Role from the drop-down list
- Select Invite users.
Project Discussion Forum
Any registered user can initiate a discussion or reply to a message in a Project Discussion Forum.
Steps:
- To create a new discussion:
- Select Start New Topic to create a new topic
- Input a Subject and text in the main body
- Once completed, select Save.
- To reply to a current topic:
- Select the topic, a number of buttons will appear including Reply and Unsubsribe.
- Select Reply and input the message in the text window
- Once completed, select Save.
Export Project Files
Project files can be exported in zip format. Select the  icon to export resources.
Manage Project Details
The details of the Project can be amended if required. Select the  icon to change the Project Name, Description or assigned Subdomain. A Project can be deleted from this screen however all resources must first be moved before deleting a project.Â
