EHR Network WG mission is to make cross-border federated querying between European health institutions a regular practice by ensuring transparency, sharing knowledge, supporting newcomers, and growing a collaborative community. More info at European openEHR network initial page.

Aim of the EHR Network WG

  • Make federated cross-border querying between institutions/hospitals/regions possible in practice on a regular basis. To ensure this, following actions are taken:

    • Transparency - document who is modelling what and where (with data models - new archetypes, templates - available in a public shared repository)

    • Knowledge exchange - regular discussions and Q&A sessions

    • Support newcomers - to be a contact point for beginners, monthly onboarding call with Q&A

    • Build and grow a community - engage reviewer's, clinicians, etc

  • Maintain lists of common data sets (European openEHR network ) for workable and interoperable future AQL queries within Europe health institutions.

  • Set and maintain monthly meetings with different collaborative regions participating: DE, SLO, LU, NL, ES, SW, CH.

Meetings scheduled

  • Initially bi-weekly and then every month.

  • Next meeting: 1st-2nd week of september 2025 - adding final date soon.
