OpenAPI Strategy

Overview for REST API work to be done - for Release 1.1.0 or 2.0.0

Progress:

• @Sebastian Iancu

  • text conversions are done

  • targetting Release 1.0.3 with minimal changes, so taht we can have a baseline in OpenAPI format

  • some issues on composition-get, versioning of template definitions and query, old specifications not being compatible with OpenAPI

  • there are still open issues around model schema - but we will not fully specify them, we’ll keep them permissive and compatible with 1.0.2

  • Pablo suggest add new spec on a separate draft branch in REST repo

• @Pablo Pazos

  • how to link model schema to RM schema

    • should we consider all RM releases? (1.0.2, 1.1.0, etc)

    • should we have separate OpenAPI specs per RM release?

• Before or after MIE2023/Vitalis2023, May 23-25, in Gothenburg, Sweden (or some place easily accessible by train from there, e.g. Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm)
