Before you start development on new archetypes, we encourage you to first search thoroughly in CKM, including its incubators, and contact an editor of a CKM project that may be related to your archetype or a Clinical Knowledge Administrator first.
This is just so that we can avoid any duplication of work and frustration.

To submit a proposal for a new archetype, select 'Archetype Proposals' from the main menu or find the 'Propose New Archetype' Quick Task on the new CKM Dashboard or choose Archetypes/Archetype Proposals from the main menu (when logged in).

To make a proposal, you need to create an archetype using one of the available modelling tools, for example Archetype Editor (Ocean Health Systems) or Archetype Designer (Better).

How to create a proposal

  1. In the Archetype proposals tab, click the “Add New Resource Proposal” button.

  2. Fill out the “Description” field with the intent behind the archetype proposal.

  3. Select the archetype file you’ve created.

  4. Click “Save”.
